Sri Sri Ramakrishna Puja Celebrations

The 188th Birthday (Tithi Puja) of Bhagawan Sri Sri Ramakrishna Deva was celebrated at the Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh premises with all pomp and solemnity. On this auspicious occasion special Puja was offer at Sri Ramakrishna temple. Day started with Magala Arati followed by Vedic chanting and Stotrapatha. Special puja started at 7.00 am followed with Homa, reading from Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna, and some bhajans were sung till 12.00 noon. Khichuri Prasada was served to 600 devotees assembled on the occasion. Evening Arati was performed at 5.45 pm. A Public Meeting on the Life and Teachings of Sri Sri Ramakrishna Deva was organised, in which three eminent speakers; Dr. Saikat Patra, Dr. Bharati Dutta, and Sri Ravindranath D Savdeykar of Dibrugarh city spoke. Assembled 100 devotees cum audience departed with fruit and sweet Prasada by 8.30 pm.
