Worshipping the Living Goddesses:Poor Widow Welfare Service

Devi Paksha starts with Mahalaya and this year it’s on 25th September 22. Entire world is getting ready to welcome and worship Divine Mother of Universe during the coming nine days in Her different forms. Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh observed this auspicious occasion by worshiping 'The Living Goddesses'/“देवी पूजा” on 25th September 22. Monks and devotees jointly offered special worship to 40 widow mothers of our “Widow Welfare Service Project” on this occasion. The mothers were graced with garland and Aarati, followed by handing over following items while seeking their blessings:

Financial assistance of Rs 1,000 /- each (for Durga Puja celebration)

One cotton saree each

One woolen blanket each.

Mothers were fed sumptuously with lunch
