Poor Widow, Welfare Service

To mitigate suffering of these poor widow mothers we had started this “Poor Widow Welfare Service”. This kind of service at Dibrugarh itself will indirectly restrict the migration of underprivileged widow mother to other cities e.g. Kasi, Vrindavan etc. and they would be comfortably staying back among their near and dear ones.

Since last two years Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh had started “Poor Widow Welfare Service”. Under this service activity last financial year, we had served 10 old, poor widow mothers with financial help of Rs. 1,000/- per month. This year we had adopted another 10 widow mothers to make the tally 20. We are serving them this year with financial help of Rs. 1,000/- and a bag of dry ration of Rs. 500/- worth every month. This month such programme was organised on 8 th September 21.
