The Ramakrishna Mission, Dibrugarh had started “Poor Widow Welfare Service” since last three years. This year we had planned to adopt another 20 old poor widow mothers to make the tally 40. At the same time, we are going to serve them this year with financial(cash) help of Rs. 1,000/-, a bag of dry ration of worth Rs. 500/- and medical service of worth Rs. 500/- every month.

To start the service for this financial year 2022-23, on Saturday, 24th April 22 such a programme was organised at 4.00 pm in the Vivekananda Hall in the presence of Sri Atish Bagchi, Vice-President of our Ashram Managing Committee. We could offer the service to 27 selected widow mothers who remain present even though the weather was very bad. Rest of the mothers would come to Ashrama at their convenience to collect the service items. We are attaching Data of 27 widow mothers whom we could serve today and some photographs and video clippings of the activity for your kind attention and reference. We convey our deep sense of gratitude for the cooperation and help we receive from all section of society; devotees, admirer and general public.
